Limited Warranty

All EQSS products are backed with our established warranty program. All hardware products have a 12-month limited warranty after the date of invoice. EQSS warrants that hardware products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. EQSS will replace products which are found to be defective and which are returned to us, freight paid, within two weeks of the RA issuance. This warranty is in lieu of and excluding any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose and EQSS will not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages to plant, personal or equipment. The warranty extends only to the product / part and does not cover onsite labour or travel charges.

What is Covered

The EQSS limited warranty program covers defects in the product materials and workmanship. This warranty extends to the product’s technical specification and EQSS warrants that the product will operate as specified. The warranty covers all products supplied within our systems, and also covers replacement and spare parts.

What’s Not Covered

The EQSS limited warranty program does not cover labour charges or travel charges or any related expenses incurred by any party in the removal or changeover of the product on any type of machine, plant or equipment. The warranty program does not cover labour charges or travel charges or any related expenses incurred by any party in the update of software or firmware within an EQSS product.

The EQSS limited warranty does not cover any damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from any alteration, modification, improper or unreasonable use or, misuse, abuse, accident, neglect or exposure to factors outside the products technical specification. As well as any damage resulting from the installation or removal of the product.

Without limiting any other exclusion herein, EQSS does not warranty that the product covered hereby, including, without limitation, the technology and/or integrated circuit(s) included in the product, will not become obsolete or that such items are or will remain compatible with any other product or technology with which the product may be used.

What EQSS Will Do

EQSS, at its sole option will elect to repair, replace or facilitate the repair of any defective product within a two-week period of receiving the item, free of any charge for necessary parts and labour to complete the repair and restore the product to its proper operating condition.  EQSS will pay the shipping costs necessary to return the product to the customer.

EQSS understands that customers need replacement products quickly to limit downtime. If the customer elects or orders a replacement product this must be done so under their trading terms, the warranty RA part must be returned to EQSS freight paid within 14 days. If the product is found to be defective EQSS will credit the customer’s account.

What EQSS Will Not Do

EQSS will not be responsible for any costs related to the removal or re-installation of the product from, or into any installation, machine, plant or equipment.  EQSS will not be responsible for any costs relating to setting up, adjustment, programming or calibration of the product.

How to Claim Warranty

To action this warranty, you must contact EQSS. If the product is returned under this limited warranty, a return authorization number obtained from EQSS will be required (RA number). If it is decided that this product should be returned directly to EQSS, this product should be properly packed bearing a return authorization number.
