Getting started

Download the app
Search the App Store or Google Play for “EQSS OverWatch”. The app replaces the older web-browser method for software updates, diagnostics and configuration.

Open the app
On launch the app downloads the latest software from the web. Choose OverWatch from the device list to proceed.

Enable Wi-Fi on the sensor
The sensor connects to the app over its own Wi-Fi network. Follow the onscreen instructions under Connect to OverWatch Wi-Fi in the app, then join that network in your device’s Wi-Fi settings.

Software update
Once connected, a green tab shows the serial number and current software version. Select Software Update from the system menu and follow the prompts. Afterwards the unit must be restarted and reconnected, and Machine Setup and System Test completed.
