General Information

The following pages contain information related to load management systems on construction equipment.

Click on any of the page titles below for more information.

Differences Between LMI and RCL Longitudinal Moment Indicator (LMI) - Measures the weight applied on the rear tyres. As the weight on the tyres decreases the LMI increases. Rated Capacity Limiter (RCL) - Measures the weight of the lifted load and compares it against the maximum rated load for the current boom angle and boom length. Click for a more detailed description of an LMI and RCL.
The GEN3 Dynamic Stability Triangle The Dynamic Stability Triangle is the basis for determining both longitudinal and lateral stability on a telehandler. The EQSS Gen3-LMS displays the stability triangle and the Centre Of Gravity within the triangle.
